Effinature standard

Chain of responsibility

• The standard is designed by NORMATYS, which develops, adopts, updates and publishes it; the Biodiversity Standard Council, the scientific and technical committee for the NORMATYS standards, approves its versions; IRICE runs the committee on behalf of NORMATYS.
• The Effinature trademark is owned by NORMAXIS, which licenses its use.
• Certification is delivered by IRICE, certification body. Cofrac accreditation No. 5-0655 · Certification of products, processes and services · ISO/IEC 17065 · Scope available on www.cofrac.fr. This accreditation covers the EFFINATURE and EFFINATURE HVE certification programmes. Applications are submitted on effinature.com, the certification platform and public register.

Access to the standard

Version in force: 8.1 (NCO, EVO, HOR, HVE). The eligibility criteria and the procedures for non-compliance (including suspension and withdrawal), complaints and appeals are published in the scheme conditions, together with the rules on the use of the signs; the fee scale is communicated on request. The Effinature standard is developed, adopted and published by NORMATYS; IRICE, certification body, assesses operations against it and decides on certification. The versions in force are made available free of charge on effinature.com, under the CC BY-ND 4.0 licence; NORMATYS publishes the earlier versions, in free access, in the version history. Only the version in force is authoritative.
