Effinature standard
Certification of biodiversity performance
Four standards cover the life cycle: NCO (new construction), EVO (renovation), HOR (development) and the HVE addendum (high ecological value, in operation).
Chain of responsibility
- The standard is owned by NORMATYS, which develops and maintains it in consultation with the Biodiversity Standard Council.
- The Effinature trademark is owned by NORMAXIS, which licenses its use.
- Certification is delivered by IRICE, a body accredited by Cofrac under no. 5-0655 (scope available at www.cofrac.fr). Applications are submitted on effinature.com, the label platform and public registers.
Access to the standard
The eligibility criteria, the financial terms and the procedures for non-compliance (including suspension and withdrawal), complaints and appeals are published in the scheme conditions, together with the rules on the use of the signs. The full texts of the standard, for every version in force, are made available free of charge by IRICE, exclusive licensee, on its download platform. Only the version in force is authoritative.
