Owner of certification standards
Standards programme of the NORMAXIS group
NORMATYS develops, owns and maintains environmental certification standards. The programme carries out no certification, audit or conformity assessment activity: those operations are performed by accredited third-party bodies that are legally separate.

Openness of the scheme
Open to all traders, as the directive requires
The scheme is open to any trader willing and able to comply with its requirements, under transparent, fair and non-discriminatory terms. No exclusivity, no discretionary selection, no prior membership of any network. The eligibility criteria and the financial terms are public: scheme conditions.
Open to certification bodies, optional
The standard is available to any body accredited under ISO/IEC 17065 that meets the published conditions. This openness is not required by the directive, but it strengthens the demonstration of the scheme's independence.
