Standards
Effinature, BPS, CBCA
NORMATYS designs, develops, adopts, updates and publishes the standards; the Biodiversity Standard Council, scientific and technical committee for the NORMATYS standards, approves their versions. Their application in the field (assessment, review, decision) rests with IRICE, a separate certification body.

The eligibility criteria, the financial terms and the procedures are published in the scheme conditions. The versions in force of the standards are made available free of charge on the website of each scheme (effinature.com for Effinature, biodiversity-performance.com for the BPS); NORMATYS publishes the earlier versions of the Effinature standard, in free access, in the version history. Only the version in force, shown in the table above, is authoritative; the fee scale is communicated on request.

NORMATYS and IRICE are 2 separate companies within the NORMAXIS group. NORMATYS develops the standard, IRICE assesses and decides on certification. NORMATYS takes no part in the certification process.
