NORMATYS standard in preparation
A NORMATYS standard in preparation, devoted to the emissions of building and civil engineering sites. When the time comes, certification will be awarded by IRICE.
Planned steps
- Technical work and drafting of the requirements: under way, building on the measurement methodology of Efficarbone, a tool for measuring and benchmarking construction-site carbon.
- Public consultation: a call for comments before adoption, following the process described in §8 of the scheme conditions.
- Launch of certification: after publication of version 1 in the scheme conditions.
No CBCA certification is delivered to date, and no CBCA sign may be displayed before the scheme is launched.

NORMATYS and IRICE are 2 separate companies within the NORMAXIS group. NORMATYS develops the standard, IRICE assesses and decides on certification. NORMATYS takes no part in the certification process.
